Volume 1 :
Synopsis :
“It sounds just like a fairy tale. A fallen princess saved by a band of thieves — the commoners will eat that right up.”
— Emperor Siegfried
The age of swords and magic — where power ruled — came to an end at the hands of an empire that mass-produced guns and cannons using the technology of an ancient civilization.
Even now, wars are waged in the name of “world peace.”
And yet, there are three outlaws who dare to defy the dominant superpower…!!
There’s Claude, the gang’s leader,
Murakumo, the mightiest knight,
And Yuri, a genius mage!
Cast out by the Empire, they live cheerfully on the run — robbing its riches day after day…
That is, until a small mistake leads them to accidentally kidnap Princess Emma, the last royal of a fallen kingdom!?
“I’ll do anything! Just let me stay here!”
Emma, once the Empire’s prisoner and the sole guardian of the legendary relic of ancient civilization — the Castle of Canaan — chooses to live with the thieves in their fortress hideout.
Capable of cooking, cleaning, and everything in between, this girl-with-a-past throws the rowdy men into disarray.
But her warmth, her secrets, and her unwavering kindness gradually win them over, until one day — they swear to protect her with their lives.
Then the Imperial Army comes charging in… and all hell breaks loose!
Wait — did that cannonball just get nullified!?
“Magic, you see… it’s all about the strength of your belief.”
Three men, one girl, and one beast —
A whirlwind, high-octane fantasy where a handful of misfits turn the world upside down!
