Chapter 11: The Giant Creature and the Red Terror
The cat monster I thought had defeated suddenly grew enormous and started rampaging through the city.
Fortunately, it seemed the people in the surrounding area had been evacuated, but I still didn’t know when the beast might head towards populated areas.
“I see it!”
I caught up to the monster on my Lupus Striker and transformed into Shot Blue, raising the gun in my right hand.
[CHANGE!! SHOT BLUE!!]
[LIQUID SHOOTER!!]
“Over here!”
The energy blast I fired while riding my bike hit the monster’s cheek, but it didn’t seem to have much effect.
As I thought, I won’t be able to inflict any real damage unless I’m in my yellow form.
“Gyaaa!”
The monster kicked a car, sending it flying towards a nearby police car that was urgently evacuating people.
Noticing police officers near the car, I quickly shot my Liquid Shooter at the flying vehicle, deflecting it in another direction.
“Are you alright?!”
I stopped my bike and called out. One of the male police officers, who had collapsed in shock, nodded dazedly.
“Y-yeah…”
“Please evacuate the people further down the road! Also, is there a less populated route around here?!”
The police should know the local roads well.
Though it was just a hunch, one of the officers stood up and pointed down the road.
“There’s a highway under construction about 3 kilometers ahead! There shouldn’t be any civilians there!”
“Thank you!”
“Leave the evacuation to us!”
“We’re counting on you, White Knight!”
Three kilometers ahead?
If I hurry with all my might, I should make it in time!
“Everyone’s working together…!”
I rode my bike at full speed, leaping through the air to get ahead of the monster.
“It’s moving in a straight line. If I can draw its attention for just a moment, I might be able to lure it.”
I formulated a plan while keeping an eye on the creature from above.
“My current firepower isn’t enough…”
[UPDATE!!]
“Whoa?! What’s happening?!”
This time, I heard a voice coming from the bike.
Could this be… a new function?!
After the belt taught me how to use the new ability, I pressed the blue button that appeared on the side of the handlebar.
[LUPUS STRIKER!! ARMY BLUE!]
“Huh? Whoa?!”
Suddenly, translucent components appeared on the rear of the bike, and something started assembling on its side.
It took the shape of what looked like a missile launcher, and as it materialized, I couldn’t help but let out an excited cry at this marvel of technology.
“Wow! This should do it!”
I revved the engine and descended towards the monster at full speed.
After visually confirming the road to lure the creature, I fired the missiles from the side.
The upper cover opened, and a barrage of missiles shot upwards, directly hitting the monster’s back.
“Graaaaaah!”
The monster, writhing in pain from the firepower unlike anything from the Liquid Shooter, finally turned its attention to me.
“Alright! Shiro! More missiles!”
[EMPTY!]
“…Huh?”
[PURGE……]
“It fell off?!”
With that announcement, the side equipment dropped to the ground, and the bike’s color returned to normal.
Could it have been… disposable?!
Sure, the power was incredible, but… No, this isn’t the time to be picky! I need to keep luring it to the empty highway!
“That’s right, come this way!”
“Graaah!”
I jumped past the road closure and onto the highway.
Sensing the monster following close behind, I pushed forward at full speed for a moment to create some distance.

If I fail, it’ll turn into a messy brawl.
In the worst case, I’ll have to face it head-on and beat it down like the Black Knight would.

“That must be the dead end.”
Seeing the end of the highway approaching, I skidded to a stop just before it and transformed into Axe Yellow, the form that commands electricity.
[CHANGE!! AXE YELLOW!!]
[LIGHTNING CRUSHER!!]
“Come on…!”
I readied the Lightning Crusher, an axe wrapped in electricity, and fixed my gaze on the creature charging towards me from about 200 meters away.
I don’t have time to wonder if I can do this.
When I say I’ll do something, I do it! Even if it seems impossible, I’ll make it happen!!
Just as I was about to unleash my finishing move with all my might, someone in a red suit silently landed in front of me.
“Huh?”
As I stood there dumbfounded, a large helicopter flew overhead.
The girl in the red suit standing before me lightly swung the sword in her right hand and put her hand to her ear.
“Yellow, Blue, proceed as planned earlier. Yeah, thanks.”
Is she communicating with someone?
I can tell it’s a woman, but with her entire body covered in a suit and mask, I can’t make out her identity.
“…Ah.”
“?”
She looked at me as if wanting to say something, but quickly turned back to face forward, taking a stance with her long sword.
“………..”
Then, from the large helicopter that had just passed overhead, a familiar girl in a yellow suit – Yellow-san – landed in a straight line between me and the monster.
“Yellow-san?!”
She was spinning her arms as if warming up, preparing to confront the monster, but there was a clear size difference between her and the creature as big as a large bus.
“Ah, watch out!”
“It’s fine.”
The person in red muttered quietly.
Just as the monster was about to pounce on Yellow-san and I was about to look away, a blue flash of light shot from inside the helicopter, instantly piercing through the monster’s limbs.
“Did that… pierce through it?!”
I could see someone in a blue suit sitting on the side of the helicopter, holding what looked like a sniper rifle that had fired the blue flash.
“Movement obstruction successful. V!.”
“Nice one, Blue. Yellow, you’re up next.”
“Leave it to meee!!”
As the monster lost its balance and was about to fall forward with its momentum, Yellow-san charged straight at it, swinging her great axe upwards from below.
“Raaaaaah!!”
Her strike, releasing a blinding flash of lightning even from this distance, sent the monster’s massive body soaring high into the air.
“…Huh?”
What?
I looked up at the sky, dumbfounded.
The person in red stood motionless, sword at the ready, as the monster traced an arc through the air, falling towards us.
“This is bad…!”
I quickly readied my axe to unleash my finishing move, but at that moment, an incredibly strong gust of wind erupted around the person in red.
“………..”
Something invisible was released into the air, disappearing in an instant.
Turning towards this clear anomaly, I saw the person in red had already completed their sword swing and was lowering their blade.
“Extermination complete.”
