In the department that handles cargo delivery reception and delivery requests at the Orlangea branch of the Galactic Cargo Transportation Union, my workplace, there is an unwritten rule.
It is not stated in the official work regulations, but is an informal rule followed among the female employees.

However, their value skyrocketed when Sasara-Esunvelda, my senior and a cargo transporter who has known Shaun-Lyatt since starting this job, shared a classically-made pudding that could be portioned out, which Shaun-Lyatt had gifted specifically to Esunvelda.
Despite being able to portion out this pudding, it melted deliciously in the mouth, with the sweetness of the pudding and the bittersweet caramel spreading throughout. It was an absolutely exquisite pudding.
Due to the deliciousness of this pudding, [sweets made by Shaun-Lyatt] gained high value among the female employees in the operations management department.
Since Lyatt does not gift sweets very frequently, there is often competition to secure them when they are available.
As a result, Lyatt’s sweets have become even more valuable now. Ten of Lyatt’s homemade cookies are worth the same as a can of regular store-bought cookies and can even get someone to cover your overtime shift.
If the classically-made portionable pudding was offered as compensation, it could fetch the equivalent of a paid day off, with change to spare.
Incidentally, I’ve heard that this information has leaked out bit by bit to other departments, cargo transporters who are not Shaun’s friends, and even branches on other planets.
At this rate, I’m really worried that someone might directly request sweets from Lyatt themselves, causing trouble.
If the surrounding noise becomes too much, Lyatt may stop gifting sweets altogether.
To prevent that, we may need to keep a sharper eye out.
Especially Esunvelda, the supervisor, who seems to frequently ask for sweets, taking advantage of her long relationship with Lyatt. We must be cautious about that.
