Fantasy Galaxy Volume 1 Chapter 3 part 5

Three days later, I finally completed a Particle Armor I was satisfied with. Then, I trained to maintain the Particle Armor unconsciously and could now sustain it for about three hours. That day, I decided to test the Particle Armor by going hunting. I stopped by the Dragon Hunters Guild to borrow a communication device to call for transport personnel, then headed to the Black Forest Belva. Belva was a forest of giant trees. Massive oak-like trees densely packed together, creating a dimly lit environment beneath them. Dragon Hunters apparently use hoverbikes to fly above the trees and head straight … Read the rest

Fantasy Galaxy Volume 1 Chapter 3 part 4

After Sario left the Mystical planet Volan, I continued hunting monsters. But being alone made me feel lonely, and I found myself thinking about Earth more often.

“I want to return to Earth, but I don’t even know where it is.”

I didn’t remember the location of the solar system. Without knowing its position, I couldn’t go back. I could have searched the stellar database on the planetary information network using the types of planets in the solar system, but hundreds of stars matched the same criteria. I gave up on searching for Earth and continued my daily … Read the rest

Fantasy Galaxy Volume 1 Chapter 3 part 3

I am Sario Barakel, born on Zilta, the fourth planet of the Korad star system, which has a civilization level of E. I grew up in an ordinary family and, as a member of the Kushi race, dreamed of becoming a spaceship pilot someday. Unfortunately, the spaceship I was on was attacked by space pirates, and I was captured. Since I wasn’t from a wealthy family, I was sold in the lower-class market and bought by the Goblin army. From then on, I was worked to the bone by the Goblins. However, I met a man from Earth named Zen … Read the rest

Fantasy Galaxy Volume 1 Chapter 3 part 2

“I thought I’d just check out what kind of monsters are here today.”

“Oh, is it your first day? Well, good luck then.”

After getting a ride to the entrance of the Sisuca Plains, I stepped out of the car and gazed across the vast grassland.

“Yeah, I really need a car.”

I do have a driver’s license, but even if it’s a Japanese one, it probably wouldn’t be of any use here. Maybe I should get a license from the Space Alliance?

I wondered if I could fly using the Heavenly wave Force Drive, but that drive only has … Read the rest

Fantasy Galaxy Volume 1 Chapter 3 part 1

  1. The Mystical Planet Volan**

Upon arriving at the Chiratia star system, we gazed at the holographic display showing its sun. Though similar to Earth’s sun, it had a slightly stronger red hue. This star, like ours, was a yellow dwarf, and its fifth planet, Volan, was inhabited. Five days later, we reached the planet. Volan resembled Earth with its blue oceans and green-covered landmasses. As we approached, a massive structure came into view.

“What’s that?” I asked.

Sario glanced at the hologram.

“That’s the space elevator. The part extending into space functions as a spaceport.”… Read the rest

Fantasy Galaxy Volume 1 Chapter 2 part 8

“There’s no chance it could actually explode, right?”

“It’ll be fine. The Dwarven civilization has reached Level D, so it’s trustworthy.”

Sario went first. After entering various information, he stripped his upper body and entered the medical machine. Once the capsule door closed, the machine began scanning. After the scan finished, surgery commenced to remove the terminal implanted at the back of Sario’s neck. Inside the machine, robotic arms moved, operating on the anesthetized Sario to extract the terminal. Sario emerged successfully after the procedure. Since I’d heard about this medical machine, I didn’t include having the terminals removed among … Read the rest

Fantasy Galaxy Volume 1 Chapter 2 part 7

“No, threat levels 9 and above are rare, said to only be encountered in special areas. Beings like us have no connection to them,”

The Armored Artillery Anemone was a monster so massive that it was evident even from a distance. Its armor, resembling the shell of a giant turtle, had numerous artillery openings, large and small. From these openings, artillery tentacles extended, aiming at enemies. These artillery tentacles moved like the tentacles of a sea anemone, wriggling and twisting, and fired plasma shells.

During the battle with the Orc Fleet, several dozen artillery tentacles emerged from … Read the rest

Fantasy Galaxy Volume 1 Chapter 2 part 6

While Zen and the others were investigating the destroyed space colony, a space battle had begun between the Orc and Goblin forces near the fourth planet. Amid the fighting, the second-class scout ship Gyogal was observing the intense battle. As a scout ship, Gyogal was not participating in the combat but instead using its superior radar to provide reconnaissance information to the allied fleet.

Walking down the corridor of the scout ship Gyogal was Valbo, with an unhappy expression on his face. After reporting the complete annihilation of the scouting team including Zen, Valbo had been demoted and was … Read the rest

Fantasy Galaxy Volume 1 Chapter 2 Part 5

Around when those modifications finished, I had mastered the mage basics, gaining the ability to convert Heavenly wave into propulsive force. This allowed me to use the simplest battle technique, Particle Shot. These “battle techniques” are skills mages use to fight. Studying “Heavenly wave Drive Engineering,” I found something called the Generator Method to learn powering large objects like ships with Heavenly wave.

Executing this Generator Method apparently forms an “acceleration force field circuit” in one’s mind. It’s like installing application software using willpower. Though hesitant, I decided gaining the acceleration circuit would help master Particle Shot faster, as … Read the rest

Fantasy Galaxy Volume 1 Chapter 2 Part 4

I awoke with a parched throat. After drinking water, I looked around.

“Sario, wake up.”

I roused Sario, who had lost consciousness in the adjacent seat.

“Ugh, uhh…”

As Sario opened his eyes, he looked around with a bewildered expression. After a while, he seemed to recall the situation.

“What is this? My head feels strange.”

Hearing him say that, I too checked inside my head. I then realized there was a vast amount of new knowledge existing within it. It was what Zolfienne had called [General Common Sense]. Sario and I fell silent and began to confirm the knowledge … Read the rest
